Spicy Pasta and Shrimp

1/2 lb unpeeled med. size shrimp
2 Tbs. Butter
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
3/4 Tbs. Cajun or Creole seasoning
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup dry white wine
8 oz linguine, cooked
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
 1-2 tsp dried crushed red pepper
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
 
Peel shirmp and devine, if desired, set aside
 
Melt butter in a large skillet, add green onions and garlic and saute until tender.  stir in Cajun seasoning and cook, stirring constantly, 1 min.
 
Stir in shrimp and whipping cream, reduce heat and simmer stirring often, 3 min.  Stir in wine, simmer, stirring occasionally, 3 min.
 
Stir in linguine, Parmesan cheese, and crushed red pepper, cook, stirring gently, until thoroughly heated.  Stir in chopped parsley, serve immediately.  Serves 2- 3
