Warning: Givi includes exactly the parts you need, no spares. So don't loose anything.
Note: In order to add a Givi topcase, you must have already converted your RTP into a 2 seater.

Step 1 - Remove Existing Luggage Rack
- You'll need to remove the 4 forward bolts and 2 rear bolts that hold the standard luggage rack in place.
- Keep the 4 forward bolts around, you'll need 'em later.
Step 1a (Optional) - Clean
- Since you've got your luggage rack off, consider a quick cleaning.
Step 2 - Install the rear supports
- You need two of each part: #3, #4 & #11.
- Stack the support arm (#3) on top of the extension piece (#11) & thread the bolt (#4) through.
- Keep the arms straight back and tighten the best you can. Step 3 will cover up the bolt heads.
Step 3 - Install the large support
- You'll need just part #2, the large U support.
- Make sure to seat the support so that it is mostly flush up front with the sides.
- Use the 4 bolts you removed in step 1 (Labeled on the Givi instructions as part #5) to mount the support.
Step 4 - Mount the plate
- For this step you'll need most of the remaining parts: #1, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10
- Remove the cover plate from the plate.
- The plate will have a very obvious "correct" mounting location. To far forward or back and you wont be able to fit the little plates (#9)
- Use the shorter 2 bolts (Part #7) for the front and the longer (Part #6) for the rear.
- Seat the bolts in the following order: Bolt (#6/#7), Washer (#8), Little Plate (#9), Plate (#1), Support, Washer (#8), Nut (#10).
- Tighten everything down.
Step 5 - Install the cover plate
- Take the cover plate you removed in step 4 and snap it back into place
- Screw in the 4 tiny screws in each corner
Step 6 - Add your Givi E55!
At this point, you're all done. You should be able to push at your mounting plate and it not budge at all. You should also be able to snap on your E55 and go!
